Colima Government

Mario Anguiano Moreno, born in Tinajas, Colima, was born on August 15, 1962. He received a Bachelor’s Degree on Economy from Universidad de Colima, achieving the best average of his generation and the “Peña Colorada” Award.
Through his career in public service, Mr. Anguiano has performed various posts as Municipal Treasury of Colima and Manzanillo City Councils, as well as Chief Accountant for Hacienda in State Congress. He was a local Deputy for the Third District of Colima and was also part of the Commissions on Rural Development, Fishing Development, Planning, Tourism, Economy and Human Rights.
In the past elections, he triumphed and was named Constitutional Governor of the State of Colima for 2009-2015 term, committed guaranteeing safety, strengthening regions and a transparent resource management.
