Querétaro Government

Lic. José Eduardo Calzada Rovirosa was born on August 21, 1964. He has Business Management Degree from Universidad Nuevo Mundo and a Master’s Degree on Business Administration from University of New Mexico, USA.

An active member of Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI), he has been Counsel for Fishing and Environmental Issues; at Mexico’s Embassy in the United States; Central Administrator of customs Planning in the Department of Treasury and Public Credit; Customs Manager at Tijuana, Baja California and Ciudad Juarez and Federal Delegate from the Work and Social Ministry in the State of Queretaro.

After performing as Senator, he was named Constitutional Governor of the State of Queretaro on October 1st, 2009 for the term 2009-2015.
