Oaxaca Government

The current administration in the state of Oaxaca, in fact rather controversial since it began, is led by attorney Ulises Ruiz, on behalf of the PRI party, and elected for office for the period 2004-2010. The governor's office is assisted in its duties by a cabinet formed by the Justice Attorney's Office, the General Coordinator for Development Planning, the General Director for the State Institute of Public Education of Oaxaca, as well as various Secretaries regarding the sectors of General Government, Administration, Health, Tourism, Culture, Finances, Indigenous Affairs, Economy, Control, Rural Development, Public Works and Citizen's Protection Secretaries.
