Nayarit Government

The constitutional Governor of the state of Nayarit, elected for the period 2005-2011, is attorney Ney Gonzalez, who had held previous posts as president of the Tepic municipality, Federal Deputy, Local Deputy, and Representative of the Union Congress before the Latin American Parliament.

The governor's office is supported by the Secretaries of General Government, Finances, Public Education, Auditors Office, Rural Development, Economic Development, Public Works, Attorney's Office, Health, and the Tourism Secretary, as well as the State Water and Sewer Commission and other entities and dependencies.
