The assisting dependencies to the governor's office are the Private Secretary, the General Coordinator for Innovation and development, the Director of International Affairs, the General Coordinator of Public Works and the Secretary for Social Communication, in addition to the cabinets in charge of strategy, respect and justice, growth and employment, and proper government, as well as other various Secretaries and centralized departments that also support the state government.

The official Web Site of the state of Jalisco offers the general public a link to the so-called E-Government, which describes the services provided on-line and which include the payment of automobile or income taxes, state providers registration, issuing of official certificates, and many other formalities and procedures, in addition to allowing citizens to come forward and anonymously report criminal behaviors and activities taking place within the community.
