Hidalgo Politics
The current constitutional governor of the state of Hidalgo is attorney Miguel Angel Osorio, elected for office for the period 2005-2011 in representation of the PRI party, and who has had an extensive political experience in the state as Government Secretary, Secretary of Social Development and Mayor Official of the Pachuca municipality.
The state is located in the central part of the country and is politically divided into 84 municipalities:
